Dallas Hospital Second Floor Generator Set

Dallas, TX - MEI set a 12,000 lb. generator into the second-floor mechanical room at Dallas Medical City Hospital. A platform was built at an elevation of 16 feet with blocking and cribbing, two 10-ton hydraulic gantry legs, and 1-inch steel plate.

The generator was lifted onto the platform using MEI’s 15,000 lb. capacity telehandler, set onto poly skates, rolled into the building and set into place.

The project was completed safely and on time. The customer was very pleased.
